SUMMARY:Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal\, Safavid\, and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre
DESCRIPTION:From the 16th to 18th century\, three great empires – the Mughals\, Safavids\, and Ottomans – shaped a vast and interconnected world across Asia. This period marked the height of their influence\, even as European expansion reshaped global trade and politics.  Within and between these empires\, artists produced works of remarkable beauty that projected authority and gave visible form to power. \nThis exhibition presents one hundred masterpieces from the Louvre\, drawn from royal collections and later acquisitions. Southeast Asian objects from ACM’s collection are interwoven throughout\, bringing these traditions into dialogue and revealing the crosscurrents that connected distant regions.

SUMMARY:OPENING: CONSCIOUSNESS VENICE
DESCRIPTION:OPENING\nCONSCIOUSNESS – ANIMA MUNDI 2026\nVenice | June 19 – July 03\, 2026\nPalazzo Albrizzi-Capello\, Venice \nITSLIQUID Group\, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association\, is delighted to welcome you to the opening of CONSCIOUSNESS on June 19\, at 06:00 PM. Hosted in the historic heart of the city\, the event gathers a dynamic intersection of painting\, photography\, and performance\, inviting a worldwide audience to explore the depths of contemporary creative research. \nThis exhibition marks the second chapter of the ANIMA MUNDI ART FAIR 2026\, a historic\, regular appointment for Venice and a consolidated tradition that cyclically returns to light up the city’s art scene by highlighting compelling emerging and mid-career voices. This brilliant continuation follows the successful launch of the art fair’s first appointment\, RITUALS (May 20 – June 04\, 2026)\, which previously opened the season by showcasing more than 120 artists from over 20 nations. \nANIMA MUNDI is the vital energy that flows through everything\, the subtle force that connects all forms of existence\, from the natural to the artificial\, from the visible to the invisible. It is the living pulse of the world\, the rhythm that sustains transformation\, coexistence\, and renewal. Plato expressed his thoughts about ANIMA MUNDI in the Timaeus\, describing the universe – “this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence… a single visible living entity containing all other living entities\, which by their nature are all related”. \nToday\, this ancient vision returns with renewed urgency: ANIMA MUNDI is not just a metaphysical idea\, but an intuitive recognition of the invisible energy that flows through every form\, natural or artificial\, allowing the planet to live\, evolve\, and transform. It is the hidden network that sustains ecosystems\, connects human and non-human entities\, and balances life across time and matter. \nHow does this universal energy manifest itself today? We invited artists\, designers\, and architects to take part in a collective exploration of ANIMA MUNDI\, investigating the subtle correspondences between soul and body\, humanity and nature\, organic and synthetic worlds\, wild landscapes\, and urban architectures.

SUMMARY:CONSCIOUSNESS – ANIMA MUNDI 2026
DESCRIPTION:CONSCIOUSNESS – ANIMA MUNDI 2026\nJune 19 – July 03\, 2026\nPalazzo Albrizzi-Capello\nITSLIQUID Group\, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association\,\nis pleased to announce the opening of CONSCIOUSNESS\, the second appointment of\nANIMA MUNDI 2026. The exhibition will open on June 19\, 2026\, at Palazzo\nAlbrizzi-Capello in Venice and will remain on view until July 03\, 2026.\nANIMA MUNDI is the vital energy that flows through all things\, the subtle force connecting\nevery form of existence\, from natural to artificial\, visible to invisible. Understood since\nPlato’s Timaeus as the soul of a living universe\, it returns today as an intuitive awareness\nof an invisible but active network that sustains transformation\, coexistence\, and renewal\nacross matter\, time\, and life. It is the underlying rhythm that links ecosystems\, human and\nnon-human entities\, and balances the continuous evolution of the world. Within this\nframework\, artists\, designers\, and architects are invited to explore how this universal\nenergy manifests today\, investigating the subtle correspondences between soul and body\,\nhumanity and nature\, and organic and synthetic worlds.\nIn the works of Amira Yaakoubi\, the female body becomes a site where memory and\ndesire continuously intertwine: through layered compositions and expressive gestures\, her\npainting gives shape to figures suspended between strength and vulnerability\,\ntransforming the image into a reflection on identity and the female condition. A related\nsensibility emerges in the photographic practice of Maciej Max Dominik\, who reduces the\nbody to its essential form through black and white imagery and a rigorous control of light\,\nin which each photograph seems to strip away every superfluous element\, allowing\nmovement and presence to surface in a dialogue where the body never appears fixed or\ndefinitive\, but rather constantly shaped by emotional and perceptual transformation.\nNadine Collado\, instead\, develops a practice driven by intuition and spontaneity through\nabstract compositions that take form through layering\, tonal variations\, and free gestures\,\ncreating open and mutable images that shift according to the viewer’s gaze\, in an intuitive\ndimension that resonates with the photography of Romina Calini\, where each image\noriginates from an immediate response to reality. Light and atmosphere transform the\nphotographic act into a personal perception rather than a simple registration of the visible\nworld\, moving between inner experience and a sensitive interpretation of their\nsurroundings.\nThe theme of waiting runs through the work of Paolo Cristiani\, who observes airports\,\nhotels\, and transitional spaces as suspended environments\, almost detached from time:\nhis images transform the experience of contemporary travel into a rarefied dimension\nwhere architecture and human presence coexist in silent balance.\nIn Conrad Schirmann’s painterly research\, depth becomes a generative force from which\nabstract landscapes slowly emerge from matter itself; built through layers and sudden\nopenings\, his chromatic surfaces evoke contemplative states and inner dimensions.\nThe photographs of Charlotte Stoffels conclude this journey through images that preserve\nfragments of time\, subtle details\, and delicate atmospheres. Her gaze focuses on a\ndiscreet and unconstructed beauty that reveals itself within the intervals of everyday life in\na perpetual research for the invisible and the imperfect\, where the vision of ANIMA MUNDI\nfully emerges as a subtle network of connections between perception\, memory\, and\nhuman experience.\nCONSCIOUSNESS offers a cohesive journey through contemporary visual practices\,\nfurther enriched by a great selection of video artworks (see\nhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dIyZDQk2jYpJcuAL-r2rchEmicAUvQqU?usp=sharin\ng).

SUMMARY:The Shape of Us Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Shape of Return exhibition on 21 June to 5 July\, 2026\, brings together fifteen Maldivian artists in a single\, distilled narrative moving through myth\, oceanic memory\, ecological fragility\, longing\, and ultimately\, return. The works now gather not as separate pieces\, but as chapters in a shared epic. \nThe Maldives is a place the world thinks it knows: turquoise\, pristine\, suspended in paradise. The Shape of Return looks beneath that surface: at ancestry\, craftsmanship\, folklore\, environmental vulnerability\, and the ongoing negotiation between tradition and modernity in a small island nation shaped equally by story. \nPresented collaboratively by Suvãsthi\, Oaga Art Resort\, and Oevaali Art Gallery\, this exhibition situates Maldivian contemporary art within a broader regional conversation\, while remaining firmly rooted in its oceanic heritage.

SUMMARY:Of Light and Matter
DESCRIPTION:Of Light and Matter explores the relationship between light\, materiality\, and the natural world through a diverse collection of paintings\, mixed-media works\, and sculptural forms. The exhibition brings together artists whose practices are rooted in observation\, transformation\, and reflection\, inviting viewers to reconsider how we perceive and connect with our surroundings.\n\n\n\nNature is never merely a backdrop in these works. Mineral crystals pressed into paper\, mirrors casting full spectrums of colour\, figures reaching toward streaks of light breaking through storm clouds\, and landscapes distilled into rhythmic patterns all reveal the subtle interplay between physical matter and intangible experience. Through their distinct artistic languages\, the participating artists explore themes of renewal\, resilience\, memory and wonder.\n\nThe exhibition brings together nine contemporary artists from Singapore\, China and Japan\, each offering a unique perspective on the relationship between light\, materiality and the natural world. Participating artists include Daiki Nishimura\, Karina D. Simon\, Kim Xu\, Wang Jiang\, Yin Chua\, Zhang Qiao\, Zhang Yihan\, Zhang Ziheng and Zhu Feng.\n\n\n\n\nThe exhibition is presented by Y Art Project in collaboration with Art Seasons Gallery. Through this partnership\, the two galleries share a commitment to supporting contemporary artists\, fostering artistic exchange and creating meaningful opportunities for public engagement with the arts.

SUMMARY:Meet At Eye Level
DESCRIPTION:Meet at Eye Level centres on our encounters with animals\, those who share our daily lives\, and those that live quietly within us. \nThrough ceramic and illustration practices\, the showcase invites visitors to consider how shifts in posture\, rhythm\, and attention shape the way we relate to those around us. \nAcross the works\, artists approach the theme from both outward and inward directions. The ceramic works focus on shared rituals of care\, revisiting moments of dining through hand-built vessels. The illustrations turn inward\, where the fragmented perspectives of horses reflect the complexities of identity and our ongoing search for self. \nMeet at Eye Level invites viewers to adjust their stance and discover new ways of encountering animals\, both beside us and within us.

SUMMARY:Small Gestures: At the Table
DESCRIPTION:Rather than being observed from a distance\, ceramic wares are made to be used\, lifted\, and held\, revealing their presence through weight\, texture\, temperature\, and the irregularities formed by hand. \nSmall Gestures: At the Table reflects the showcase’s focus on physical closeness\, attention to small gestures\, and the act of slowing down to notice what is often overlooked. A single dessert course\, curated by Glasshouse and served on chosen hand-built ceramic ware by @kiln_wanday (which participants will bring home after the experience)\, extends this attentiveness through flavour\, texture\, warmth\, and pause.

SUMMARY:Common Room
DESCRIPTION:When two young adults get the rare opportunity to share a living space of their own in Singapore\, it’s all too easy to fall into mundane patterns of domestic responsibility. But within these rote routines lies the magic of profound late night conversations about one’s place in the world\, spontaneous deep dives into exes and lost friends\, and musings about what the future holds. \nCommon Room by ants chua is a celebration of the emotional\, physical\, and relational work of queer living. Directors Claire Wong and ants chua reveal a rare insight into the domestic spaces that allow us to be the most vulnerable\, and the tender efforts we make to grapple with our past mistakes and our present selves. This intimate two-hander sees actors Genevieve Tan and Siti Sara Hamid delicately unfold the layers of identity\, of queerness\, and of vocation. \nAn exploration of loving\, living and dreaming amidst the relentless rhythm and rupture of daily life\, Common Room is both familiar and new; at once poetic and irreverent. Amidst the ongoing rupture and repair of friendships\, despite the impossibilities and failures of language\, how can we continue reaching toward each other?
