SUMMARY:D-SIDE: Building Blocks
DESCRIPTION:D-SIDE: Building Blocks \nA multidisciplinary showcase by alumni of D’Hoppers Dance Crew (DDC) from the National University of Singapore. \nD-SIDE is a play on ‘b-side’ — the lesser-known track on a record — reimagined to celebrate our many identities as people and creatives. It’s also a play on ‘decide’: you hold the agency here. Choose how you move through the space\, which works you encounter\, and what sides of us you uncover. \nThis production reunites DDC alumni across eight generations\, some sharing the stage for the very first time. Dance once felt infinite — now it lives alongside deadlines\, adulthood\, and the quiet negotiations of a busy life. D-SIDE is our refusal to let it go. It’s a celebration of a passion that has grown up with us\, continues to inspire our lives\, and come back richer for it. \nNote: Some works contain explicit language. Parental guidance is advised. \nWarning: Strobe lighting effects will be used during some of the dance performances.
