If you haven’t yet caught artist Joanne Pang’s inaugural exhibition at Yavuz Gallery, head on down soon as it closes 5 September!
In “Before the Birth of Eden” the artist explores the becoming of life in relation to the act of recollection, with new paintings and sculptural works that expand on her ongoing interest in structure and materiality.
We particularly loved her provocative sculpural work, “Fertile Ground”, which evokes femininity, fertility and sexuality in the artist’s interpretation of The Tree of Life.
