Karlo Antonio Galay David recently saw one of his plays staged in Davao City in The Philippines, and he has a fiction collection scheduled to come out later this year. He works as local historian for his hometown of Kidapawan City, but is also documenting the traditional cuisine of the town's indigenous Obo Monuvu culture while teaching Creative Writing in a local university part time. Recently, he has been venturing into art writing, working on a book on Mindanao Settler paintings.
