Born in 2006, Michelle Wang is currently studying at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA). As an aspiring painter and ceramicist residing in Singapore, she hopes to pursue a prospective career in fine arts. Through her art, Michelle beckons viewers to appreciate the quiet sophistication that simplicity can convey. Her works are characterised by their use of traditional mediums to explore and push the boundaries of her subject matters. Exploring a contemporary take on traditional Chinese paintings, she integrates elements of both the Eastern and Western into her practice.
