Ancient artifacts dusted with contemporary hues mark this original dance creation with modern sensibilities. Through movement, sound, rhythm and art objects, the performance aims to bring forth an experience akin to an urban excavation for the audience.
The performance concept is inspired by the ancient Shu civilization (古蜀文化) of Sichuan, China, or better known through the archaeological finds of Sanxingdui (三星堆). As mysterious as the excavated artifacts, the show has no literal narrative but offers audiences intriguing images and scenes in a theatre presentation.
