CIMB Artober Art & Soul returns with Semang-art, breathing new life into the local arts scene with a dynamic line-up of exhibitions showcasing Malaysia’s most creative and revolutionary artistic minds. A celebration of art, culture and lifestyle, the art fair aims to add colour to the vibrant Malaysian art community while bringing together art and fashion enthusiasts alike from 25th to 27th October 2024 at the Hall 1, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, with free admission to the public.
The event will display over 1,000 captivating artworks by more than 100 artists, presented by 20 local galleries such as Taksu, Sareng, Segaris, Galeri Puteh and more. CIMB Artober will also be showcasing 30 influential artworks from The AFK Collection, an assortment of first generation works of Malaysian contemporary artists dedicated to the preservation of contemporary art in the country. The collection will also feature the transformative artworks of Fauzan Omar, one of Malaysia’s most respected contemporary artists.
