SAM Art Carnival

Celebrate SAM’s 30th anniversary at the SAM Art Carnival, a free one-day celebration of art, creativity and discovery for all ages.

Enjoy free admission to all exhibitions at SAM, including Hiroshi Sugimoto: Form Is Emptiness and the newly opened Maria Taniguchi: Afterimage. Look forward to a vibrant programme of hands-on workshops, performances and guided tours throughout the day.

Get creative with drop-in art experiences inspired by SAM’s exhibitions. Experience colour beyond sight by creating tactile colour cards in Feeling Colours, experiment with watercolour spray painting and cyanotype printing, make beaded charms or try your hand at punch needle. There will also be face painting, carnival-style games, treats, giveaways and live performances throughout the day. Highlights include performances by young Singaporean busker Shayne Ko, as well as a spectacular smoke, magic and bubbles show.

Make a day of it at SAM with free exhibitions, art-making activities and family-friendly experiences for all ages. Located just a short walk from the newly opened Cantonment MRT Station, SAM is now even easier to visit.
