The Red Pencil (Singapore)’s Inaugural Art to HeART Charity Gala Dinner

The Red Pencil (Singapore), a registered charity dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of art therapy, is thrilled to announce its inaugural Art to HeART Charity Gala Dinner. The event will take place on 26th April 2025, at 6:30pm, at the prestigious Hotel JEN Singapore Tanglin. This elegant evening promises to be a celebration of art, music, and mental well-being, all in support of a noble cause.

Since its establishment in 2011, The Red Pencil (Singapore) has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable individuals, using art therapy to help them express emotions that are often difficult to verbalise. By partnering with schools, foster homes, social service agencies, and health organisations, the charity integrates creative arts therapy into psycho-social programmes, fostering long-term mental resilience.

The gala aims to raise $300,000 to support the charity’s growing operating costs and expand access to art therapy, ensuring it remains affordable for all. Funds raised will provide critical mental health resources to individuals in need, empowering them to heal and thrive.

Highlights of the Evening:

• Guest of Honour: The event will be graced by Ms. Sun Xueling, Minister of State at the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Social and Family Development, whose presence underscores the importance of mental health advocacy.
• Headliner Performance: Local pop duo Tokyo Square, renowned for their iconic 80s hit Within You’ll Remain, will take the stage to deliver a high-energy performance that promises to captivate the audience!
• Live and Silent Auctions: Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive items, including a signed vinyl by Singaporean songbird Kit Chan, adding a touch of nostalgia and glamour to the evening.
• Hands-On Art Therapy: In a unique and immersive experience, guests will participate in hands-on art therapy sessions led by credentialed art therapists, celebrating the spirit of mental well-being in a truly interactive way.
