REDSEA Gallery is pleased to announce ‘Wanderlust’ a forthcoming solo exhibition by emerging South Korean artist Jieun Park. Opening on 13th September 2024, Jieun will debut her latest collection of captivating midnight cityscapes from around the world.
The artist uses Chinese ink which is energetically swept across traditional Korean paper, she later adds highly detailed depictions of cities she has traveled to from Sydney and New York to Hong Kong and Singapore. Jieun manages to capture the individual essence and energy of each city, the twinkling lights, the iconic buildings and the feeling of adventure!
Jieun pursued her love of painting from a young age and went onto study Fine Arts and Design Advertising at Konkuk University in Seoul, majoring in Oriental painting. Her work has since been displayed in various art fairs and exhibitions in South Korea, Hong Kong, France, and Italy and Singapore.
