Have an idea for how public spaces can be activated through physical prototypes such as installations and interactive art?
Come take part in the URA-REDAS Challenge, which seeks your innovative ideas to enliven and revitalise public spaces!
Public spaces play a pivotal role in fostering connections between people. In highly urbanised societies around the world and in Singapore, creating well-loved public spaces that provide opportunities for bonding and interaction has become essential in enhancing well-being in our everyday lives.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS) are inviting innovators and artists from all walks of life to come up with design solutions that can enhance the vibrancy and inclusiveness of public spaces, and encourage the resumption of rich and meaningful interactions in our community as Singapore reopens progressively.
Gather your friends and family, or embark on a solo project, to develop and implement your ideas in shopping malls and Business Improvement Districts across Singapore, and stand to win up to $10,000.
Interested parties can view the competition brief hereĀ and submit their design proposals from now till Friday, 17 December 2021.
