With over 100 million copies of the manga sold in print worldwide, Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan is arguably one of the world’s most popular manga series to date. As the final season of its anime adaptation approaches its end, it seems to be the perfect time for ArtScience Museum to launch ‘Attack on Titan: The Exhibition.’

Visitors are invited to pick a route upon entering. The Red Route reveals the drawings and perspectives of characters who live within the walls of the fictional Paradis Island, where the show is set. Many of them didn’t know that civilisations existed beyond until the Titans breached the walls. Head for this if you want to check out popular characters like Levi and Mikasa Ackerman. On the other hand, the Blue Route showcases archives depicting characters who live outside the walls and wish to infiltrate the walls.

While we aren’t die-hard fans of the series, we can definitely see the series’s appeal with a gripping depiction of war and various perspectives emerge from the various parties involved in a war. Embodying this is the fourth zone dedicated to the battle between Eren (the Attack Titan) and Reiner (The Armoured Titan), which is depicted dynamically across two panels.

Fans will also be thrilled at the many photo ops as they’ll be able to snap pictures with their favourite characters, the Pure Titans who fall from the sky and threaten humanity, and even a balloon head of the Colossus Titan.

There are also massive zones dedicated to various characters, the Grand Titan Theatre where you can see battles from the manga brought to life and an interview with Hajime Isayama where he reflects on the decade he’s spent creating the epic series. Other things that can’t be missed are the three original artworks from the manga’s ending that have never been exhibited before.

Overall, we had great fun and imagine it’d be exciting for those who have just started getting into the series or long-time fans who are gearing up for the ending of the anime adaptation.
