Wish that you could be like the cool kids? Or maybe you want to know where they hang out?
Well, look no further coz they’re all at UltraSuperNew Gallery this weekend for its “Bizarre Bazaar.”
Billed as a “morbid marketplace of horror, filth and glamour” the bazaar which runs over the weekend till 31 Oct from 11am to 7pm, features some deliciously disturbing art and collectibles from hugely talented artists.
First up; assistant gallery curator Hilya Zubir schooled us in the art of Jibbitz charms (check out the teeth on her crocs below).
Then, we got acquainted with the terrifying art of Tay Yuang Song
For the longest time, we’d thought taxidermy was illegal in singapore but Blackcrow Taxidermy proved us totally wrong. Bats, snakes, butterflies — the display on show was just mesmerising.
And finally, we had a chat with the lovely Zoey of Claycat who makes the most intricate and beautiful necklaces and accessories, adorned with human organs and bloody teeth.
This is not a Halloween bazaar for the faint-hearted, but if you like your art and fashion served up with a good dose of gothic darkness, it’s just the place for you. Nail and tooth gem artists will be present onsite as well, to get your fingers and teeth Halloween – ready.
